TCN/TCV seals are specialized rotary shaft seals designed to prevent fluid leakage and block contaminants in pressurized environments. Unlike standard oil seals, TCN/TCV variants are engineered to withstand moderate to high pressure (typically 0.3–1.0 MPa) while maintaining sealing integrity. Their primary function is to retain lubricants within rotating machinery, such as shafts or bearings, and prevent external debris, water, or dust from entering critical components.

TCN/TCV seals are integral to construction machinery, hydraulic systems, and heavy-duty vehicles like forklifts, where they protect bearings and axles from contamination while managing pressurized lubricants. They are also employed in pumps and compressors, particularly in scenarios involving high rotational speeds or exposure to aggressive chemicals. Their adaptability to varying pressure levels makes them suitable for both low-pressure and medium-pressure systems, ensuring versatility across industries.

Key characteristics of TCN/TCV seals include their reinforced structural design and material composition. They often feature a single sealing lip combined with an additional dust lip, balancing pressure resistance with reduced friction for high-speed applications. Common materials like nitrile rubber (NBR) or fluorocarbon rubber (FKM) provide heat resistance, chemical stability, and durability. Some variants incorporate steel or polymer reinforcements to enhance load-bearing capacity under extreme pressures.

NQKSF offers an extensive range of standard and custom TCN/TCV oil seals. Please refer to our sizing charts for dimensions.
